My best friend gave me a harpsichord. I've wanted one since I was about ten. He found one that was in need of some restoration, so he got it for me, and gave me the parts to fix it.

An old boyfriend made me a wooden jewelly box. He taught industrial arts at the time (I taught English at the same school) and he put lots of work and love into it. I haven't seen him in years, have been married and divorced since, am dating a great guy now, but that jewelry box is still on my dresser. It's gorgeous and he lined it with velvet. This same guy wrote me poems too, which I absolutely loved!

in my opinion, the best gift that I've ever gave to the opposite sex was my love, friendship, and respect. They would appreciate that much more and value it much more.

met this guy 2 months before valentine...he bought me a beautiful heart shape bracket 2 ct. diamond necklace...I still have it even though we broke up after 7yrs in a relationship together
