Get away from the artificiality and use the simple home remedy called hair conditioner. It has collagen in it and that helps the nails grow longer and stronger.

Even when your nails are short, take an emery file and lightly file them a few times. This effort reenergizes growth.

For years I've been trying to find the exact remedy for my problem with nails because I use my nails on my right hand to fingerpick the guitar. Occasionally, I break one, but not often.

Years past, I used clear nail polish on them just before a gig and that seemed to help. Problem was my nails were shiny and I got ragged for having them as a guy. That may not matter to you.

Try to get out of the dependancy of biting them! I understand it's elaborate when you've accomplished it for a while, but I used to chunk mine and now my nails develop best and lengthy! Constantly coat your nails in clear nail varnish, it helps give a boost to them and then they should not fall off. In the event that they grow distorted, trim the ends with some nail scissors, don't chunk! Finally your nails should be straight, long and healthy. They are going to develop a small quantity in every week however I doubt it will be as so much as you hope.

I bet they grow they are just very thin and weak from the fililing they did. Give them time and apply a strengher every other day. Don't go to the little chop shops to get your nails done again. Find some one who care about your nails and will help educate you about better nail care. You can try Opi or creative nail web site and find a salon near you. they may be alittle more but they will take better care of your nails

Well, do they grow and break, or do they just not grow...ie: they look the same since you had your acrylics removed?

I have very thin, weak nails...they grow, but break quickly after leaving the nail bed. There are several pills/polishes/wraps etc. Frankly, I think they are mostly bunk. Thin nails are thin nails...nothing changes that.

Go to the store and buy some prenatal vitamins. They will make your hair and nails grow faster and your nails will be stronger.
