My sister uses Nair when she shaves because of the same problem, no matter how many times she shaved over the hair that stayed it just would not cut so she uses Nair and it gets the hair that the razor won't. Hope that helps, I know it sounds crazy, but she does it. All else fails so it's worth a shot!!!!!

Which direction are you shaving, up or down? If I shave down, I don't get nearly as good a shave as when I shave up (even though they tell you not to do that).
Also, I tend to get ingrown hairs - the hair grows under the skin. Sometimes the ingrown hairs look normal but they have a very thin layer of skin over them - in that case I just scratch it a little or use tweezers to get the skin off, then I can shave the hair off. Some of my ingrown hairs create bumps under the skin, but I haven't figured out a good way to fix those yet.

Hi, hairs grow in several directions, so try shaving in a different direction. Sometimes hairs will start to grow inwards, when this happens it can cause a reaction to occur, this can result in reddening or even spots. If this happens, it is important to exfoliate the area thoroughly. This will help encourage the hairs to remain on the surface.
Shaving is not the best method of hair removal, try waxing or sugaring. These methods ensure you remain hair free for longer.

You may need a new razor. Do not try anything over than shaving as some of the product can burn and or irritate the skin. also do not shave them too much each time as this also can irritate them. I too did this once and ended up with a shaving rash all over my legs and believe me it itches.

Use a hair removing cream, follow the instructions and avoid sensitive personal areas. Don't use soap after treatment, and allow a few hours before applying cream etc. This should do the trick for a few days. If one cream does not suit you try another. You can always test a small unseen area if you think your skin is sensitive.

id switch ur hair removal method - try depilitary creams such as nair - these dissolve the hair @ the root & last 3 - 7 days & regrowth is softer & finer (quite cheap but can also cause burns if left on 2 long) or theres waxing (lasts up2 6wks) sugaring (like waxing but said 2 b gentler on skin & obviously its a sugar mix rather than wax!) or epilation (quite cheap, lasts as long as waxing) or theres that exfoliation system from Babyliss - my little sis uses that & swears by it!having said that i still prefer my razor - try venus divine from gillete

You need NAIR! Nair is a hair removal product that goes beneath the skin to remove hair. You rub it on like lotion and let it set for 3 min. then rinse or wipe it off and every stran will be gone! It is affordable and you can get it in any drug store and Wal-Mart! GOOD LUCK!

I would say
1. Get a new razor
2. Wax
3. Use a hair removal cream
Never ever use Nair!!! It burns and leaves these tiny painful bumps all over!! Nair should be banned!!!

I use an epilator which when used regularly will last longer than a razor and the hairs grow back lighter and softer.
