I've always enjoyed having Filipinos as coworkers and friends. I wanted to know the country and culture better. So I made my first trip to the Philippines last November and had a wonderful time. Plan on going many more times in the future. After all, there are more than 7,000 islands to explore, right?

I lived in Daly City, Ca. growing up and at the time it was referred to as "Little Manila" because there were so many filipinos there.

My best friend was filipino and the family next door with three boys around my age were filipino. As I got older I worked with many filipinos. I have found people of that nationality to be very friendly and easy to get to know. They are always willing to share their food and let me tell you they can cook!!!

Ive never had any good experiences with them. One pulled a knife on me in Subic bay US Navy base. The ones aboard ship didN't mix with the rest of us at all. Those were not to be trusted but that hardly means there are not alot of good ones around. The women have always been friendly.
