Why do people get on here to start racial controversies?

Question

I don't have a racist bone in my body. I have 2 african american uncles, 6 latino family members. I am white. I hate how people constantly are putting white people at the head of racism. I am not saying that there aren't white racists, but there are just as many hispanic and african american rasists too. So, please, lets just put it behind us. We will all be much happier if we can!

Seriously, my friends are a freaking rainbow tribe and I love it!! I just wish we could all see that we are so much closer than further apart. All I can say is that you have to be you. If someone sees you as just being a "white girl" then shame on them...they are obviously stuck in a world that has blinders on.

Everyone is racist and prejudice! Even you and I. people don't do it intentionally it's just something that was ingrained in our brains that we should hate, because after all there is always something better isn't there? if you know what i mean? White's do and are at the head of racism, i mean have you seen society today, who "rules" the world, everyone that's not white feels like they have to comply or adapt with the white society's way of living. I'm sorry but racism will never go away, it's just another thing people are going to have to get use to.

It's easy and safe to start flame wars in here. Many of the people who say and ask the outrageous racist stuff are bored teen age boys with nothing better to do with their time. And these bored teenaged boys are from all races and cultures. They just want to see something get started.

Like a virtual playground fight.

You are right about the various racist out there. For every race there is someone out there that hates them for whatever reason. That said we also should never quite questioning, because even through I know they often are just trying to stir the pot so to speak, when you are it shows you have thought about the situation and possibly from the other answers my be able to look at it through someone Else's eyes.

They have no intellect and suffer from a inferiority complex. It's always been easier to blame someone else then take responsibility for yourself. Anything worth doing takes hard work to accomplish. These people are too lazy and take the easy way out.

I totally agree with you! However, there are many ignorant people in this world who thrive on hatred. It's really pathetic and I feel sorry for racist people. As they have no idea of the many wonderfull people they could have in their lives if they just opened their minds and hearts.

I'm on your side sista' but racial issue is a very sensitive issue.
People always want to discuss about this issue to solve it for the sake of humanity but they are afraid to TALK because they afraid what they SAY might offend anybody. So sis, what i think YAHOO! ANSWER is the best place for us to discuss about racial controversies or any other topic we want to discuss WITHOUT STARTING PHYSICAL FIGHT OR WAR!

I think the way to put a stop to racism is to get it out in the open and discuss it honestly.
