You have a bigger reward than money if you love your job. Some people may make more than you, but in actuality you are the lucky one. Being underpaid isn't that bad in your situation unless you are struggling to survive.

Be very honest. (honesty pays and is a wonderful quality). Talk to the person in charge of setting the wages. Tell them just how much you enjoy your job and want to continue but feel the wage amount doesn't match the job requirements. Ask if something could be worked out.

Many here gave pretty good answers. You can either stick it out and HOPE that you'll be recognized as a good hard dedicated worker (which is rare) and allow the rich to get richer....or find something else that you might love (like I did!)
You never know what you're looking for til you find it!
Good luck on your endeavor!

Sounds very common. In my entire career. When I didn't really like my job. I just leave. Any reason. Be it salary, coworkers, boss, etc. There is no guarantee that you will be happier. There are risks and life is really a gamble. I don't know if this would work for you

I would keep the job if I loved it and had enough money. I would take a job that paid less than my current job if I thought I would love it.

Therein lies the rub. If you tell them you want less hours and more money or you are leaving, and you really WILL leave if they don't negotiate, then you haven't lost anything.
If you really wouldn't want to leave your job, that strategy tends not to work very well.

Well, if you love it, what is the problem? If you need more money, find something in the same line of work. Good luck, Hon!
