is this pretty simple? i want to learn how to tint windows and i watched someone do it once before, it didn't look like rocket science to me. it actually looks real simple.

take the Lumar tint film, cut to the window specifications, spray down the window with water and soap, put the tint over it and use a squeege to get the air bubbles out, then use a hair dryer to heat it up for a few minutes.
repeat it again for the next window.

is this correct??
am i missing anything in my procedure?
please let me know. i want to be 100% correct in how to tint a car window.

thanks.

that is pretty much it, just remember, seeing someone else do it means they have practice if it looked easy, its hard, ive tried a few times and it came out bubbly, lol...

also on the back window you use three different peices cut into strips horazontally, they should have about a 1/4 overlap on them, dont member if you go from top down or from bottom up on that.. not sure if it matters...

good luck and dont get too mad, it takes practice

I went to Home Depot and got a window tint kit. That's how I tinted the front windows in my house but didn't use hair dryer, wasn't going to drive it down the road. It was easy but all of my cuts were straight and all were flat.

You also must make sure that you are in a very clean, dust free area. Similar to something that you would paint in. Also make sure that breezes don't flow through your work area. If you get anything between your window and your tint, you'll hate yourself.

the real way is to just change the glass itself. spray and film never lasts long one way or the other it just doesnt. Get the real deal at any glass shop its cheaper than you think to do it right
