At one time, he was the King of Radio, I will give him that. I also work in the radio field, and I really do have to admit Howard Stern did do a lot for radio. He re invented how syndicated morning radio could be a success in various different markets.
The thing that people fail to realize is there is a difference between Howard Stern's radio persona, and Howard Stern's personal life. I actually got to meet Howard once, and he was totally different in person. I was actually disappointed that he was not as bombastic in person, as he is on the air.

I also realize people don't like him because of his sometimes vulgar subject matter. All that can be said for that is If you don't like it, change the channel.
