It took me about a week, but I was working....But I'll tell you, it is a very good read for vacation and travelling. I did reread it around Christmas time, and I read it in the airport while waiting for my plane----and I'll tell you, the hustle and bustle, irate passengers, and screaming kids that usually bother me in crowded airports were all blocked out by Hogwarts, Harry, and the many adventures! Read on, and viva Harry!!!

about one and a half days but I got it the day it came out and I read most of the day (it was summer vacation).
it should be really good for airports, because it's the kind of book you can skim but you can also read very slowly to get everything. Sometimes when I was reading it I would stop and re read a sentence just because that one happened to have a lot of detail in it. But it's not boring. And you should read it so then you can read the seventh one. And if you haven't read 1-6 those should last you a year if you between everyday activities so you'll be just at the end of 6 when 7 comes out.

it took me about 3 months, but i was only reading every now and then. If you stay consistant it shouldn't take a long time. But its great for traveling.

I read it over a weekend. I'm not sure how many hours it took me total to read it because I remember getting interrupted quite few times.

Several hours, I think; it'll be excellent to take on holiday because there's so much in it. You may find yourself re-reading parts of it too - especially as more things become clear later on.
