No, that would be flight attendant. Tellers are more like supermarket cashiers, or maybe like the people that sell the tickets in the subway.

Not sure what you mean by "just", but be that as it may-- they are pretty obviously different jobs. Most likely any professional waitress makes a good deal more than the average teller.

I do NOT agree! The bank I work for spends hours in training before you go "on the line" , the benefits are wonderful even for part-time tellers and for 18 years and over they will help you through college with about 5K a semester if you are in a related subject.

Do you mean bank teller? Totally different jobs. Tellers don't have to deal with food, and (except for the rare occasion) don't have people telling them how to do their jobs better, or that their service stinks. Also, there are many different tastes when it comes to food, but everybody loves money.

No, and minimum wage is hardly lavish wages. You have to pay taxes on the tips the govt THINKS you are making.

It's alot of running, lifting, thinking, memory, communication and dealing w/ people.

It's a tough job, but it put me through college.
