Damon actually was one of the keys to the Sox winning the world series that year -- he far from sucked. Seems like everywhere he goes it gives the team a good spark at the top of the lineup. Here's an interesting fact : at one time the K.C. Royals had Johnny Damon, Carlos Beltran, and Jermaine Dye at the same time as their starting outfielders...money sure does talk. Down with the Yanks!

I am a Yankee fan also, but how can you say he sucked with the sox. Have you forgotten about game 7 of the ALCS in 04'. If he sucked do you think the boss would have wanted to sign him?

Well it im not mistaken... didnt he hit a Grand slam in game 7 of the alcs in 2004... FOR THE REDSOX... One of his 2 homeruns that game? He never SUCKED for the sox..Yea he looked like Jesus and thru like MARY... If I ever ran into him... I would bow at his feet to THANK him for what he did for Boston... THen I would spit on him.. for what he did after that..

I lost all respect for Damon once he decided to go and play for the National Bank of Stienbrener.

um no he didnt. u really must not know a thing about baseball because he may have good numbers with the red sox, but he is looked down upon by all major leagers. he is a trador and not loyal to the team he helped to a world series.

what the hell are you talking about, damon was good with the red sox, but he's a traitor and signed with the yankees, i agreed totally with Doug D,

Well like most players Damon will love and abuse the short porch out in right field.

He didn't s*** with the Sox. He was great!
Why do you think the Yankees noticed him?

But I agree ~ he really rocks with my Yankees!
