OOOPS I wasn't clear enough-- the re-set button is not on the motor housings ( 2 pump-motors ) it is on the heater box which contains the GFI, Electic heater, and all the switches, the timer and all the low-volt fuses

Hello again.

OK. These use a small electrical coil to pull and hold the switches in place. Kind of like a starter solenoid.

My guess this time would be an occasional loss of power to the coil pack. Could be a loose screw thats not holding a wire good enough.

With ALL the power off check every screw, bolt, wire, connectors, etc.

Kind of keep in mind you may be looking for a wire that may have gotten hot at the end.

That's a good starting point that may take some time, but it's free at this point.

Good luck Sir.

I wonder if the heating element is burnt. I would assume it's like a water heater, and if the element burns in two it can trip the breaker.
hope it helps

if the element was burnt it would draw less amps and be less prone to tripping!! you have something drawing too much current and it might be one of the motors!! but that is a lot of stuff you have on the one re-set!!
