many doctors advise against popping a blister (the fluid inside speeds healing) however, with it being in an area where it's likely to tear anyhow and possible cause more problems and pain, I'd drain it with a sanitary needle (heat it up with a lighter or swab it with alcohol)...then dab a little antibiotic ointment on it and cover with a bandage.

If it's small, I'd only put a bandaid over it and not pop it before the race. This will give it some protection, but the friction you incur tomorrow won't be rubbing on the raw inside layer of the skin inside the blister so much.

Pop it. Sterilize a needle and pierce the side of the blister. Drain the fluid gently. Put hydrogen peroxide on it and put a bandaid around the toe snugly. Shouldnt hurt anymore and shouldnt fill with fluid again because of the bandaid. Good luck!

Steep a tea bag for a couple minutes and when it is cool enough to place on the skin (without burning it and causing further blisters), place it on the blister and it will draw the fluid out. The skin should dry and peel within a day or two.
It you pop it tonight, you will expose your nerve endings and have a very painful run tomorrow....or possibly a bloody one!

Here's what we used to do when we were kids breaking in new sneakers or shoes and we'd get blisters. As a matter of fact, now that I think of it, I've used it on blisters after shoveling for a day.
Brake the blister, soak it with vinegar first than iodine or mercuricom. Bandage it, but not to tight, in the morning just before running.
Hey, it use to work for us ok.

Pop it, but don't take the covering skin off. Apply some "neosporin" and put a bandaid on it. Maybe some gauze to prevent irritation during the race. Good luck

NEVER pop a blister. It is the bodies way of sealing toxins out of your body. Break the blister, the toxins go into the body. Best bet, cover it with a bandage, some gauze and tape. I

Leave it. You'll find after a 15 mile run it will have popped itself.
