I feel like I am in over my head. The tabloids keep printing all these things about me that are untrue, and it is ruining my life. It is completely embarassing and I am getting known more for my reputation than for my work. I enjoy what I do. But, why are celebrities treated like this? We have all these fans and are treated so nice when we go places, but when it comes to our private lives we are treated like dog sh*t! We all have a need for a private life, it is essential to keeping our sanity.

I agree with you. I am sorry for all the bad and embarrasing things that they put out there about you and other celebrities. In a way...they are violating your right to have a private life. Everyone deserves a private life. I'm not a big fan about getting into someone's personal life unless they want to tell me about it themselves. :)

Listen,
The career you choose was to be an actress and being someone in the spotlight means that you are being watched at every angle. You just can not take it personally because you know who you are and that is the only thing that should matter. We live in a society that is very hypocritical and were there is money all rules go out the window. I also believe that you have some control over what personal information gets out and what does not. I hope you can come to terms with the fact that this is not going to change but I do wish you the best. Good Luck!!

Well....I'm jumping out on a limb here, taking a chance that you are who you say you are. Yes, the tabloids are the scourge of our society. I honestly don't know how those people sleep at night with the trash they print about "celebrities". On the flip side, some might argue that giving up your privacy is the price you pay for fame and fortune. I am More sympathetic in that I believe there should be a line drawn in the sand as to what is acceptable and what is not. I'm sure the paparazzi would like to be left alone once in a while too, eh? Keep your chin up. Rise above them and smile, baby, smile! Keeps 'em guessing!

People in all walks of life deal with that type of thing but certainly not on such a grand scale. On the one hand being a celebrity is something you chose and should have realized that public interest in your private life comes with the territory. On the otherhand being lied about is something no one can tolerate easily. Have faith in the fact that the people who really know and care about you won't believe the lies anyway and soon enough the "public" will move on to the next victem. Don;t take anything personally No intelligent person believes anything they read in any of those rags that print the lies anyway. In fact, no intelligent person would even bother to read them.

I don't really know why people have to know every last detail about the lives of the people that entertain them.

Perhaps it's because they consciously know that TV or the Movies are all Fancy and they need to know if your personal life is like the life you lead in the movies, TV or Sitcoms Are you for real, or are you just a thing on film.

Then there are people that live very dull lives, and the only claim to fame is what they see in their own mind, and you fulfill something they lack in their own lives.

Very few people are interested in the hard work, or art involved in putting on a show all they are interested in is the glamour and most probably the money you earned and what it cost to produce, so they can beg for some.

If you are indeed a celebrity - an actress in Hollywood - then good for you. My suggestion is to ignore the tabloids and do nothing in your life that you wouldn't want your grandmother to know about. There are plenty of actresses and actors who have managed to keep private "private". Keep your sanity, at least you can say you have money! Go hide away someplace and relax.

Thats what happens when yor famous! All famous people make the choice if the want to be famous or not there r alot of pros about being famous and alot cons! Those tabloids r how those photographers and journalist make a living its a choice u made and if u feel like it too much then get out of the buizness and if u still wanna do what u love than be careful of what u do and suck it up and act like u dont care and they will get bored sooner or later

Hi! i totally agree with you!
i really empathise with you, after working entertaining people you have to fall victim to scrutiny by the media, who THHRRRIIIVE on every detail of your personal life, and it is such an invasion of privacy! when i finish a day's work, the last thing i would want is people calling me at home (relating to work)- this has happened ,and it makes me angry if anyone tries to impede on my personal life, so (whoever you are! :) ) it's important to not let the tabloids get to you! so much easier said than done, i know!
i can relate to people saying to me "don't let it get to you" but if it's going to, then it will! we are programmed to feel the way we do my dear!
well, my view, lets take Linsay Lohan for example. sure there is bad magazine publicity, but i think she is a fantastic actress, and wow, what an awesome singer too! she has such a great screen presence! anything bad in the tabloids pales in comparison to her great acting ability.
if you need someone to talk to, please feel free to e-mail me (through this system). i am a down to earth 32 year old aussie chick, and i am not phased by a person's celebrity status, i dated an aussie rock star for a year, and i've met quite a few famous people, and had dinner with a well known aussie radio celebrity. it's great to see you on this website, good luck with everything!

If you are for real, then I really feel sorry for you.

I think the media in general has gotten completely out of control.

Just think how you would feel if you were the President of the United States. This man is in an extremely difficult position of trying to please everybody, which is just not possible.

An actress is one of many others. Keep a low profile for awhile, and just sit around counting your money. Think how much more of it you have than those moronic low-life reporters who get their jollies by making other people miserable. Then think about the millions of poor women who can't even afford to buy a ticket to one of your movies.

Life ain't so shabby after all, is it?
