hey i need help on hooking up a logitech webcam on my computer....I have a hp pavilion mx70 computer and i need quick and reliable answers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

do you have an installation cd? If not, then when u hook up your cam to the computer it should install it by itself...at least mine did with my scanner. I have a logitech web cam its not hard to install just follow diresction. I am pretty sure when u hook the cam up to your puter that it should do it by itself

Hooking it up with the install cd is the best way.. My logitech webcam hooked up fine with the software, but, for some reason, when I start my puter up in the mornings, or, if it goes to standby, or hibernation, I have to unplug the webcam or the puter won't start up.. :( No idea why.

You are not alone!!! I have the same problem!!!! My brother gave me his when he moved-but I don't have the disc. I went to logitechs' website but still can't get the darn thing working!!! I have another web-cam , and it works fine....running windows xp pro on a compac 5000.....Wish I could help you .....let me know if you find the "key" to this one- If ya want to ;)

You could try first reading the instruction manual you got with it. That how I do things.
