No. i think that we should not attack Iran. we should do quite the opposite. i beleive that we should attempt to create peace with Iran. When the CIA replaced their government with the Shah, we completely screwed up their economic system. We don't need to go messing with anything else about them.

Also, they have the oil. Saudi Arabia, which has been the world leader in oil production up till now. The oil reserves there are slowly but steadily decreasing their amoutn of oil produced each day. Iran however is steadily INCREASING their amount produced. We need that oil and when American oil companies aren't even allowed access it, American could plunge into the next great Depression. European oil companies are already in on the action.

It seems to me that America hasn't had too much experience in effectively "kicking butt" lately. Our soldiers do a great job, but planning and management has been less than satisfactory. Perhaps we should finish our fights in Afghanistan and Iraq first, and then move on to fighting important wars, like the wars against genocide and wars against poverty and hunger - the things that really matter!

Where is all this hate coming from in America????????????? Can't we all live in peace .........anywhere........... Just because Bush has made a fool of himself from listening to Cheney, Rumsfeld, etc. doesn't mean we need to repeat it again.............the administration really believed their own sh.. when they thought that we, as a nation, could force Sunnis and Shites to get along when they have been fighting for centuries......Now we want to go kick Iran which has a giant population of Shiites who are going to take over Iraq when we finally have to give up!!!! We ought to stop the 'boots on the ground' routine, which amounts to sacrificing our own to the furnace of 'rebuilding' & [tribal] 'democracy'. We ought to fight / win wars with overwhelming technology, from the sky.

We ought to stop naming a singular boogie-man (a particular leader), in lieu of defining a coagulation of enemies that can't really be separated into fighters & innocents.

We ought to require Congress to actually declare war, next time around.

We ought to fight to win, decisively.

The bummer is that there's no easy way to get from here to there; the all-precious moral compass has been lost in the sands many years ago.
