If they would get their acts together, then maybe they can get a decent man like other cultures of women, and not be stuck with the closet gay black men and the pimps, (the ones who try to screw as many black women as they possibly can in the shortest period of time). I think women who can’t get a good man, can’t because they are not worth a good man. They should stop hating on the White Girls and the good Black Men and just get their acts together.

I'm a black woman and my act is as well put as any other woman there is. I know what I want in life and I certainly won't settle for the worst there is. If I can get something better than I will do my best to achieve it. This comes to men particularly as well. Not all black women are stuck with, as you so flamboyantly proclaim, "closet gay black men and the pimps". There are some who have decent men and are living decent lives just as there are some (ex: Oprah) who have seemingly made it on their own without a man. Black women are strong because of the hardships we have had to go through: not only being black in slavery times but also being a woman. These are the two strikes we have against us. Not every woman necessarily lives for men only. These black women you say are stuck with these sleazy guys probably don't want to work for anything or do better. All they want is to live in the ghetto and being a ******* baby factory. These are the uneducated not so intelligent women and it breaks my heart to know that I, unfairly, must be counted among them!
I am a black woman who wants to become something in life and is willing to work hard to achieve her dreams! So don't you dare count me among those nefarious ones. There are also white women who can't get a decent man just like in every other color. I don't hate on white girls because my best friends are white!

Wow, this was a interesting post. People are people are people...you have good ones and bad ones. African American women in this country have had a rough go at things partly in part to the treatment of society and African American Men!! Yet there is no reason to point fingers or be judgmental of their situation. They are struggling just like any other culture. The sooner society recognizes that all AA women are different and have beauty like none other culture, maybe the AA women in this country will become the Queens they are!!
I just hope you meet the right one!!

I don't think that whether or not one can get a good man has anything to do with race, but I also don't think that it means that it means one is not worthy of a good man either. Everyone is worthy of finding someone who loves and respects them and they have the responsibility of treating others with love and respect.

You keep asking why black women do this, why black women do that, why are you asking stupid questions? Just like there are good black men out there, there are just as many good black women, but then again like I was once told, " you get what you give off", so maybe what you're giving off makes something wrong with you!!!

Wow it's a shame to show your hatred for black woman on a public website. Generally speaking woman tend to believe when a man says he will be good and faithful to her but since you want to generalize, I could say why are men such egotistical pigs who feel that they deserve everything. If you want respect give respect that goes for men or woman. Treat yourself with dignity and others will follow. im black and i have a good man. so is my mother and she has a good man (my father)
i know women of alot of races that have a hard time finding a good man. you cant just throw a blanket over all black women because there are black women who have good men

I do not know. Probably because we are busy getting our educations in order to care of ourselves. I don't hate white girls. Some of my best friends are white WOMEN. I don't hang out with girls.

I believe that you have a limited sample of data. Many black women do have it together and do have respectable husbands.
