Why can GOOFY talk but not PLUTO aren't they both dogs?

You have to watch Disney Movies to figure this one out. Pluto is the animated version of Old Yeller. They really got blasted for killing that dog. Goofy is the animated version of Fred MacMurray who made many films for Disney. Take a look at the older cartoons and notice the sweater vest and tie on Goofy, ventge Fred MacMurray.

My veiw on this subject is that Goofy is a cartoon dog of a cartoon that can speak just like Mickey and Donald Duck.Pluto is just a cartoon dog that is an example of a real dog who can only bark and act like a regular dog and be Mickey's pet.

Goofy is like the other creatures who stand erect and talk and wear clothing and Pluto is the exception. Goofy is no one's pet, Pluto really is just a dog.
