TO YOUNG PEOPLE that are <30... Will you answer?

Have you ever thought what it would be like when you're old? I know this is a depressing question. Just wondering.

FYI - I'm not old!

excuse me 30+ here ....had 2 put my 2 cents in. i am not old ,not even middle age i am just 41...don't be afraid to get older it life....think of all the changes u will see..example...when i was a kid there were no Pods, p.c computers,DVD,video recorders,cell phones just think of what u will see....good luck kids....lol

I am 24.

I was 5 and life was neat,
but I could not cross the street
candy seemed the most improtant thing
and then I heard the school bell ring

Then so fast I grew to ten,
The adults seemed much older then
Making friends on the schoolyard
Swinging, tagging, trading cards

At 15 I had such good times,
A young affender- no giult for crimes
My parents don't know me like my friends do
And so much trouble we get into

When I was 20 nearly grown
No friends from highschool so alone
Oh my God I hate this job
And why's my boss such a knob?

At 25 theres a brand new start
I marry the girl who holds my heart
A new career the moneys good
Life does shape up they said it would

I'll hit 30 and I'll have kids
Hope they don't act out like I did
They start to crawl and poof they talk
time goes so fast just watch the clock

I'm 35 and in my prime
But 6am is wake up time
Get ready for work and run the kids to school
You forgot to kiss the wife YOU FOOL!

40 years, my kids are ten
Wish I could be their hero again
I'd hold them up above my head
I'd read them stories before bed

I'm 45 but I'm still young
What the hell's on JR's tongue?!?!
"You old man, it's not that bad!"
"Watch out mister I'm still your dad"

Wow I'm 50 how fast it went
Im older know my youth is spent
The house is empty with the kids at school
If Im glad they're gone does it make me cruel?

55 now ten years til retired
my God I hope I don't get fired
I guy my age looking for work
my boss would too, that freakin' jerk

At 60 years old I still feel great
Too bad I can't stay up late
My wifes so moody all the time
MENAPAUSE what a crime

Woo Hoo, retired at 65
I can't believe Cher, she's still 35
Fishing, boating, and camping Galore
I wish I was younger I'd enjoy this more

I'm 70 now I've got it all
except my hair, I'm kinda bald
These things I have now I would enjoy more
If I was younger maybe 24

Well I'm a 26 year old single mom and i still haven't bought my own house so that adds to the depression. That is one of my greatest fears because I'm a very self conscious person when it comes to my looks. I worry that I will be envying all the young beautiful women and dwelling on my youth. I'm not afraid of dying as an old woman, but i don't want to die without having lived a long happy life with a great man and many beautiful children and grand babies!!! I guess nobody will care about what we look like then. I hope I don't.

What is old? lol I'm 28 and I hope at 30 I'm not incontinent. What's the SNL skit again...'Oops, I crapped my pants!'.

Trust me, all you guys who are still in high school and think 18, 21, 25 or even 30 are OLD, those milestone birthdays come much faster than you think. Once you leave school time flies. At this point in my life I'm not gonna focus on being older than 30 because that's well...depressing.

Yea, even thought about death. I want my kids out by 56yrs, i hope i can afford to retire at 65 but the future of that is not looking good. You know it sucks that we are living to be so old now but that the quality of life is deteriorating. I worked in a nursing home for awhile, with people who had many ailments. some couldn't even wipe their *** or feed themselves. Still sadder were patients with alzheimers who couldn't remember that their kids were dead and kept asking if they were coming to visit. I don't want to end up like that, no matter how healthy you are your body for most people will give out on you. I hope to die before 80yrs. It would hurt to much to have such a long life and end it all alone and helpless.

Yes, Only in a positive light though.
I can see myself having baking days with the grand kids and ice creams on the family trip to the seaside...on the other hand I would hate to not be active and free to do as I'd like. The feeling of the end nearing is quite horrible to think about too. But Hey, life's too short...live every day like its your last!

It's not depressing at all. Thinking about the future is what we are taught all through high school. "Where do you see yourself in five years?" I've always thought about it since like the 7th grade. I hope to be done with college with a degree in psychology and maybe a family.

I have and I know how id liked to be but I also know that I´m probably going to be completely different due to how my life changes and the things i learn.
I´m not the person I thought I would be at 16.

I just turned 27 last week. Ugh!!! I remember I cried when my mom turned 30. I think about it all the time, the only thing that cheers me up is thinking how I can piss people off by doing 45 mph on the highway.

I hope that I do not turn into one of those people that wears clothes that are not age appropriate, and tries to act like I'm 14 even though I'm 54! Just think all the things that are cool to me now (I'm 24), my kids will think are as lame as I think my parents stuff was! I wonder what my kids will think of 50 Cent when they are my age?!
