Start by writing down what you spend and how you spend it, you will begin to see where you waste money then cut back.

Get yourself an evening job in a veggie restaurant or alike to eat for free and make money to save. Walk everywhere, shop at recycling centres (if you have them locally). Look at best account where you can save your money and most of all look at the value you get for what you HAVE to spend. Try to spend less and less each day and each week, see how cheap you can live if you are motivated.

Open a savings account and set a (reasonable) specific amount in it each month as though it were the power bill. You set the amount, and don;t change the money or withdraw from it unless its an absolute emergency. If there IS an emergency, replace the money as soon as you can.

Go over all your bills and see what you can do without. Cut back to a cheaper cell phone plan. Take all the costly channels off your cable TV (like HBO, etc.). Bring your lunch to work. Cut out luxury things like renting movies, or going out to movies. Stop snacking in between meals. If you smoke - quit.

Hope it helps.
