If you pay for sex is this still frowned upon in todays society as does this service provide any other uses apart from the obvious, does it stop a percentage of men who would other wise hurt abuse or rape others or does it glorify the issue of women are only sex objects & what about the women themselves should they be stigmatized just because they are doing this or because this is the only way they can earn money because they are people too with feelings?

Most people are still raised to have prudish views of sex, and most people want society to have the power to control people’s sex lives. Individual liberty does not mean much where sexuality is concerned. Of course there are people who say that sex is just for procreation, and that is fine if that is what they want for their own lives, but it is oppressive and simply immoral for them to impose their beliefs on everyone else through legal sanctions. Most of these same people will say that porn, casual sex, premarital sex, etc., is degrading to women or degrading to sex. Again, this is fine if this is what they want to believe, but they have no business imposing their views on everyone else. The anti-erotic attitudes of the conservative minority are a sort of poison to the human spirit. If we could adopt more holistic attitudes about sex, we could transform the nature of prostitution. Our oppressive attitudes force prostitutes into the dark corners of society. But if sex were holistically integrated into society in a healthy way, a lot of prostitutes could become true healers. I know this sounds crazy, but this is because we have so completely adapted to the “sex is sin” paradigm, that we have trouble understanding alternatives. When you are socialized into an insane society, sanity appears insane. Anyways, imagine a different sort of society. Imagine that sex was not considered dirty, sinful, embarrassing, shameful, etc. Now imagine that a masseuse is giving you a full body massage. Is there any good reason why a full-body massage shouldn’t include your erogenous zones? No. So long as basic hygiene practices are followed, this should be purely a matter of consent between the masseuse and the client. Is there any reason why a massage leading to orgasm should be considered immoral? No. Is there any reason that government should be snooping into practices of this sort? No. It is only because we have been brain-washed by anti-erotic attitudes that we tolerate these sorts of infringements on personal liberty. It is easy to justify oppression of civil liberties when the majority praises you for doing so. Speaking out for a new vision means you have to swim against the tide and be perceived as immoral. What is truly immoral, however, is the behavior of those who would teach us to be ashamed of our desires and disgusted by our erotic being.

I'll say its still considered as a taboo by the society. Which mom will be proud to know her daughter is a stripper (or accepts cash for sex)? None. But there are some people who get into it cuz there really is nothing more they can do. Afterall, they've got to feed and robbing is outta the question. I'm not justifying their decision, but others do it simply cuz they're too lazy to get more deserving jobs or they're so blinded by their supposed 'love' for some guy who eventually leads them into drugs and then they're just useless to themselves and the society.

Men will continue to crave sex and as long as they cant confidently walk up to a woman and ask her out, there continually will be those who'll pay for 'those' moments of pleasure. No hard feelings, but as long as women contine to look sexy or aspire to be, men will continue to view them as sex objects (though not pronounced in this day).

The women who still do it need SERIOUS help but the society we live in is far from perfect, so how these women will be helped is the multi-million dollar question.

I think it treats women as nothing more than objects (or means to an end) and defiles what sex is.

One of the main reasons promiscuous sex is taboo is because it's a long-standing tradition that sex is for procreation and the ultimate expression of love. Prostitutes and casual sex don't meet that standard, so many people frown upon that.

I agree, it is writen in the Quran and Hadith yet classic dad and mom look to imagine that their children do not opt to study about it because they gained't do it till they're married. Or the imagine that in the adventure that they don't tell them, they gained't opt to do it. i imagine it is stupid to conceal faraway from it. If the Quran and Hadith let us know about it, then why is it a large difficulty? i don't think of all muslim dad and mom are like that inspite of the undeniable fact that, because my mom tells us about sex after we ask, she's no longer shy from telling us because it is also area of Islam to entice close of those issues. Me, my sister, couzins and aunties are mushy talking about somewhat a lot something at the same time. My mom is non secular yet has a cutting-aspect way of wondering, she teaches us each thing we opt to entice close, embarassing or no longer. it is area of Islam, and that i imagine it is the dad and mom responsibilities to construct a courting with their children so that they sense mushy asking questions. dad and mom might want to practice their children each thing about islam, no longer merely the flaws they prefer to entice close at their age.

The only reason it's still illegal is because the government can't find a way to tax it.
