Blue whale. They live in pretty much all oceans on earth, they migrate to tropical waters to breed. They even live in Artic waters, and were reported to grow to 110ft out there, though most are 80-90 feet in length. They are endangered, and we should help keep them, and other animals alive. The largest land animal is the African elephant. They can weigh ten tons or more.
The largest animal at present and also the largest that has ever been, is the Blue Whale. In the early 1950's one was caught of Antarctica that was around 120 feet long and weighed about 120 tons.

On land it's the African Elephant, in the sea it's the Blue Whale. The Blue Whale is the bigger from the two.

a blue whale is NOT the largest, they grow from 80-100 feet. the largest is actually a form of jelly-fish or more specifically "Lions Mane" they are known to grow at least upto 150 feet.
