Xuan Zang the Indologist from China came to India to study and go back to the Emperor and report as to how to improve the public problems by following the Indian example. He had come to India in the 7th century A.D. He studied at Nalanda University by staying there for several years. He came to India in 629 A.D. and went back in 645 A.D.
