Depends on your skills. I have had a cleaning company and home daycare, and made homemade breads to sell at a local Mom & Pop store. I have a full time job also but I now have begun a MaryKay business as well. Investment was 100.00 - I wish I had found it years ago! Profits are highest for women in this type of business. But not everyone is cut out for bringing out anothers inner beauty, cleaning houses, staying home with everyone else's children or baking. Decide what you need to earn, what your talents, gifts and interests are and attempt to find a way to use them. We ALL have gifts - we just don't see them as marketable a lot of the time. Anything you can put your heart into can be a good business. You may need help promoting yourself...but I'm sure there are people here who could encourage and advise you! :)

Do your research on line and see what attracts you the most. Think about their products and what they have to offer. There's all kinds out there, just a matter of finding not only what works for you but how you feel you'd like it. That's what I did, I started out with www.bedavis1.mywayout.net.
