If you do know the grill is original 72 to 79 are round headlights 80 to 83 1 rectangular, 84 to 87 two rectangular. Or I would try carfax. to do a VIN check.

Compo is correct also on the 79's the head-light bezel went all the way around the park-lamp/turn-signal assembly.

it should have original lights in it look at the tail lights at the bottom center you will find some letters and numbers the last two numbers is the year of the car it is on the side lights also or the front turn signals it will not be on the headlight that is the easiest wat to find out

look inside the door on the end where your handle catches, there is a plate. also you can look on the tail light it will also tell you.
