i have pubic hair right now, and i havent got my period yet, my cousins think its awkward, is it ?

I don't think its awkward or weird. I started getting pubic hair and boobs at the age of 8. I didn't get my period until i was 14 yrs old. Every ones body is different. And baby girl don't be in a hurry to get your period. You ain't missing nothing. Cause when u start getting it u might wish u didn't. I know i wish it sometimes.

Yes, you get your pubic hair 1-2 years before your period. At this time you should also be developing up top too.

In the majority of women hair appears up to a year BEFORE their period. You are completely normal.

growth of pubic hair is one of the secondary sex charectarestics that girls will experience before they have their period.. it's perfectly normal and u should be expecting to have ur first period in the near future..
