This is one of my pet peeves, too. If a person has valid arguments and states them well, I am 1000 times more likely to listen to what they have to say and consider they may be right.
But as soon as I read ignorant, obnoxious remarks that show a vulgar disrespect for our elected leaders, I am no longer interested in what that person has to say.
Think about it, folks. Don't be lazy. Do your homework and talk like a rational, reasonable person. Hate-mongering does no good: it only makes you look insane.

It's fun to occasionally rant. Did you feel better after that question. Unless your someone only out for every buck they can get, and country be dam it's hard to find common ground with Bush. What happened in New Orleans is but snapshot of the Coolidge Presidency, some of LBJ and US garnished Era. In a couple of years think how much fun you will have ranting on Howard Dean.

I would never disrespect the president for his total lack of knowledge. Actually, I admire him for how far he got, using his gut instincts, rather his intelligence. It's amazing.
Kind of like someone who gets all the way thru elementary school, junior high, high school, college and grad school without having to take a single test. Some people just have all the breaks go their way.
Thanks for pointing that out. I feel better.

hate? no i dont hate him ... you can go ahead and blindly kiss up to him and the administration but the bottom line is that he appointed virtually every member of the PNAC to cabinet positions when he came to office. This group of people has many big names you will recognize if you google it and reseach it alittle. While your at it research the literary work they produced (rebuilding americas Defenses) prior to 911 and see what their goals and outlook are for the US and the world and stated desires they have for the middle east. Basically the PNAC proposes military and economic, space, cyberspace, and global domination by the United States, so as to establish — or maintain — American dominance in world affairs. So dont dump a statement on me about lack of knowledge unless you are willing to open your eyes and look at the cold hard facts of what is going on. This isnt a conspiracy theory im throwing at you. The facts of the matter are that just about every one in the current administration are behind the PNAC and their memo "rebuilding americas defenses" gives a very clear view of what they are thinking and what they are after. Just about everything you see on the news from Iraq to the war on terror is PROPAGANDA .... designed to get YOU to support everything your country does. I'll give you my assessment of the situation as i understand it .... and its a work-in-progress in my mind and im not an expert .... but to the best i can figure the current administration sees themselves as true patriots ... they reason that the US is in trouble both financially and militarily especially. There is a VERY real threat developing in asia, mostly the Chinese, that in a few years will challenge the united states in every way AND there is a very real threat of nuclear war with them ... a little known fact is that the Chinese are feverishly modernizing their military and nuclear strike capability including subs capable of nukes... ANDDD ...you dont here it on the 6 oclock news but the Chinese have repeatedly threatened to use nukes against us if we interfere with them in any way ... especially with their plans to annex taiwan soon. ... Soooo, the PNAC and the administration needed a pretext to set up permanent forward military bases in strategic places to head off this growing threat in China ...nobody including the US population or the world would have let us do what we are doing and continue to do under the guise of a "war on terrorism" without 911 and a pretext. All the propaganda out of iraq is designed not only to keep the military there indefinitely but to increase the presence ..... make no mistake, its a huge deception and propaganda campaign .... all of it .... they may be well intentioned but the bottom line is your president and the administration has deceived you and is willing to sacrifice american lives to serve their form of "patriotism".

That's not true at all. Just because I don't agree with the president doesn't mean that I "hate" him - I just don't agree with the decisions he's made. There are definetely people who say stupid things and just call the president names or something without any reason backing-up their argument against them, but it goes both ways. I have heard tons and tons of conservatives say rude things about liberals with no real facts at all backing them up.
If you ask me, it was kind of rude of you to say that. It wasn't a real question, just a hypocritical attack.

It seems they only thing they care about is hating GW.
I think it stems from the fact that he has a regular Bible study
in the White House. That really drives them cuckoo.

I beg to differ ... but if you will just look at this administration's approval rating, their handling of the Iraq war, oil prices, taxes, stem cell research - the facts will speak for themselves.
Not to mention any one of a million faux pas uttered by this president.
He is a buffoon, plain and simple.
