Is it when your pregnant if the heart rates fast its a girl and the heartrates slower its a boy??? i forgot which ones which???? help!

Statistically, most doctors say girls have a faster heart rate than boys. But my doctor also said that he thought my baby would be a boy based on the first heart rate test he did. Lo and behold, I'm having a little girl.

Old Wives tale says "Girls are faster and boys are slower" I am having a boy and the heart rate is 160. It really doesn't make much difference with the heart rate unless it is like 180-190. Also, remeber that heart rates are faster when early on in pregnancy.

They usually say heart rates are faster for a girl.

However, this is an old wives' tale - and not to be trusted.

The only true way to find out a gender is by ultrasound, or chromosome testing.

I know that when its a boy its more active and the heart beats faster u can actually hear the boy move alot more and when its a girl u feel less movement Good Luck

You can not determine whether it is a boy or a girl by the heart rate. That is just an old wives tale...Don't believe it.

Neither, the heart arte predictor is a wives' tale and has no medical basis. The only sure way to find out the sex while pregnant is to have an amniocentisis, which should not be a choice if only for sex determination as it does carry a risk of miscarriage.

Neither of these is true, and just like an adult, heart rate changes from moment to moment. Chorionic villis sampling, amniocentesis, ultrasound, and good old fashioned mother's intuition are the best predictors of a baby's sex.
