My best friend starting hanging out with the mean popular group at my school, and now sometimes she acts like them but sometimes she doesn't, I wanna be friends but no when she is mean what should i do or tell her?

When i tried talking to her she was to busy with her boyfriend.. SHE ALWAYS is.

Get some other friends so you don't entirely emotionally DEPEND on her.
Why she does it:
Status is very important to people. It is built into our instincts. When we fit into a group, it increases our chances of survival. Being mean raises her status level superficially because it makes her look better. So her need to be popular is sad fact of life, but understandable.
Don't tell her that, but just tell her how you feel about that group of people and just let her decide what she wants to do. Bottom line is it seems that you are a caring and honest person who deserves some better friends who aren't so easily morally degraded(by being mean) just because they want to stay with the trend. Maybe keep her as a friend, but for sure get some other best friends so you have options.

There is one great thing about a true friend, and that,s knowing when to give some one enough space to see things for their self. If you try to tell someone something and they aren,t ready to hear what you are trying to tell them just step away and let them find out on their own. and the only thing you can do is be there when they find out that the people that she,s hanging with are not{truefriends}

That happend to me I was hanging out with the popular group but they wernt mean. She just wants to be noticed more offten. I thought I was a tottle loser so I started to hang out with a Girl named Shelby she was the most coolest nices girl you would ever meat!!!!
Maybe you should try to talk to her. I think she will say give the cool people a chance you should. They may be pretty nice.

OK..your her friend ...what do friends do when they see their friend makeing a BIG mistake ....you tell them your worried about the descisons they are makeing ...you say while I respect your right to make mistakes and learn from them ...I would not be a good friend if I didnt warn you when I see you going down the wrong pathway ..that can only lead to hurting you ..you think hurting people is fun but you will learn you get more harmed by doing it ...ask her why she feels this is ok?

it sounds to me like you have outgrown her. move one and find a better friend. i did and we've been friends for 10 years now

she's your bestf riend so you can tell her anything right? just tell her how she's acting towards you and if she doesn't listen she's not your true friend
