The best way to get rid of acne, pimples, zits, etc. is to make sure you wash your hands as much as possible. The germs and bacteria on your hands get onto your face anytime when you are brushing your hair, touching your face, eating, or anything else. The cleaner your hands are, the cleaner your face will be. Also, remember to wash your face with a warm cloth every morning. This ensures that you have a fresh, new layer of skin and the pimples, zits and acne will go away much sooner with a cleaner, top layer of skin since you're washing away all the bacteria, germs, and dirt from the top layer of the skin. If you make sure to do this every day, your acne and pimples will definitely go away. I have been rinsing my hands more with water lately (basically within the last month) and I've noticed a dramastic change in the way my facial skin looks. I barely have any acne anymore, my skin feels cleaner, and I feel fantastic knowing that I look great! Give this a shot, and your acne problems should be gone for good. Just don't forget to wash your face and hands everyday.

first of all, you will not be able to get rid of your acne once and for all. A good product that really works is: proactiv. It only works if you use it twice a day, everyday. If you begin to use it correctly, you will begin to see results (not right away though... for me it took a week or so to start seeing results.) If you skip a day, or stop using it, the acne will get worse again. So basically you have to really care for your face everyday... and whatever product you use, you have to use it correctly, otherwise the product will not work. (and also, there is NO product that will get rid of your acne overnight... helping your acne is a gradual process.)

I have moderate acne Proactiv worked for me but as i continued reading your submission i see that it didn't work for you. My neighbor has cystic acne which is a terrible type of acne that cant be helped only by prescription medicine. If your dermatologist doesn't know whats going on he isn't a good doctor. Try seeing someone else you HAVE to find something that will help there is medication out there! Believe me. If you're looking for FAST results it isn't going to work. For acne to go away it takes time.

Possible long term solution:
Try limiting your dairy consumption.
A 2005 Harvard study found a connection:
"Acne Associated with Dairy Intake…
A new Harvard study links dairy products to adolescent acne. A group of 47,000 women from the Nurses’ Health Study was asked to provide information about several aspects of their diet during high school as well as any incidence of physician-diagnosed severe teenage acne.
Researchers noted a positive association with total milk and skim milk consumption, along with instant breakfast drinks, sherbet, cottage cheese, and cream cheese.
No association was found with several other foods often thought to affect acne, including soda, french fries, chocolate candy, and pizza. The scientists postulate that hormones and bioactive ingredients found in milk may be responsible."

If you have the ability to speed up time then that would be a fast treatment......
[edit] Asking a couple of my friends who had it really bad, their doctors put them on something called Roacutane, it's a pill that you take every day and it clears it rite up, but has side effects as with any medicine, one of the most common is dry lips. Check out the link it might be of some help...

I don't know how to stop it FAST but here's what I do:
Wash it with an exfoliating face scrub twice a day.
Realx- stress REALLY causes pimples...
Eat LOTS of Vitamin A- it really helps fight acne...
Lastly- yogurt... for some reason, it works...
