There isn't much you can do about the weather. Many many weddings and parties have been rained on, the only thing you can do is move it indoors. As long as you have good music for dancing, and good food to munch on you've got the makings for a good party. Everyone will understand that you can't exactly have a pool party with outdoor games in the rain. Dance your booty off with your friends and enjoy your sweet 16!

deffinately go for it - dont let a little rain stop you having fun. Is there any way you could get your hands on a big tent or even a big piece of tough plastic to make an area of refuge should it start to rain!! Dont worry about it too much - since when have weather men ever got it right??????

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Go ahead with your plans. Clean out the garage P. D.Q. Should it rain take it to the garage. Your friends are there to celebrate you Birthday. You were planning on getting wet anyway. Go! Have fun....Thunderstorms are always a good time to tell scary stories.

If you were planning on swimming, getting wet, what's the big deal? Everybody puts on their swimsuits and plays in the rain! Happy Birthday!

I'd say go for it, the heck with the rain!
If it's warm out, go for it, rain or not rain, and also, it's only 50 % :)
That could happen before your birthday, or even after, you could still go out anyhow.. it'll be your day!
Don't let a little thing like rain ruin your day :)

If you can, move some of the games inside. If they're games that absolutely MUST be played outside, do so then.
Go ahead and have your pool party, but if you see lightning, move everything inside. Be sure to keep refreshments inside and rent some movies (and video games if you like them). You should be set! ;)
