It's a proven fact that the extremes are the ones who vote in party primaries. That's why Lamont won the primary, but Lieberman will win in November.

If there are more centrists I would beleive that they would have more pull politically. But the closest thing we have to a centrist party is the Democrats. You can tell by the spite for the Dems which comes from the Republican moles on this site. Hi guys!

I think we are less, because we just want all the righ and left noise to go away and leave us alone. We have jobs to do and kids to raise. And we don't need the Rush Hannity ORiley fueled rage of the right or the Moore Franken fueled rage of the left to sear the political sanity of this nation any longer. Why can't they all just shut up!?! They have absolutely nothing new to say.

Maybe we centrists need to get up off the couch and start cracking heads.

I'm kind of a centrist though I admit I lean more towards the liberal side and I'm extremely active politically.

I took political test and it has me just on the other side of the line in Libertarian. I am not active in a way that I organize protest and support campaign. However, I have an opinion and will express it when I see necessary. And I do vote.

There are no centrists. Anyone who claims to be one is just admitting that they are too ignorant to know why they would be either conservative or liberal. The differences are very clear, so claiming to be in the middle is either just to appear "above the fray" or because you're stupid.

Being a "Centrist" or "Moderate" just means you are ignorant, as "Curious" alluded. Ergo, you tend to keep quiet, since you don't know what you think.
