Every President has their critics. Hoover was unjustly blamed for the stock market crash of 1929. Clinton was somewhat blamed for the surge of terrorism in the 1990's. But when a President lies to unjustly attack a country that has done nothing wrong and Americans die for it, people tend to have a negative opinion. And in the long run, it may prove to be one of the dumbest mistakes a President has ever made. Kinda like supporting the Shah and arming the Taliban to fight the Russians. Sadam Hussein, while a wannabe Stalin and a certainly evil guy, was probably the only thing besides Israel keeping modern terrorism from really thriving in the area. While terrorism did exist, it is certainly much worse now than it was before. When trying to defeat an enemy one of the worst things you can do is attack with brute force against people that had very little or nothing to do with the terrorism you are trying to eradicate. That only gives them a common enemy to rally against and only creates more enemies than friends in the long run. In short, the president may have made some bad calls, they all do eventually. However, lying to the entire country for a personal agenda, boasting of the complete and easy success before it has even started and not thinking of the long term consequences is something that everyone hates, whether they want to admit it or not.

Geogie porgie, pudd'n pie, spit on Our Constitution, and got mud in his eye. Georgie thinks that he is above the law. He's running like a socialist and expecting everyone to believe the lie; that he is a conservative Christian.

"From each according to his means, to each according to his need." Gosh George, where have I heard that before? Hey George, last time I looked, the Constitution said that those in public office are the servants of the people, not the other way around. Perhaps they didn't teach you that in college?? WE YOUR BOSS, MAN. Our law is the Constitution.

You supposedly placed YOUR hand on a Bible when you took office, and recited an oath. You said that you would uphold the law of the land. So what's with the un Constitutional Wire Taps, eh George? That woman judge caught George's hand in the cookie jar, and told him to go stand in the corner with his un Constitutional wire taps. Georgie is upset. Poor Georgie. Don't cry Georgie.

Now Georgie goes on the airways pleading to the American people to be a party to his breech of the law. He needs an accomplice to OK his crime against the American laws, and the people he swore an oath to protect. He says, It's all a matter of NEED. We NEED to break the law of the land in order to protect the people. Wow, does that make any sense to you?

Georgie is confused. He believes the puppet master's lie, that the State is better at running our lives than we are. Their need to use George and his administration to create their new world order and enslave mankind, has turned Georgie's perspective all upside down. His nwo bosses want him to make us a slave to the US corporate state under the guise of protecting us from the terror they create with their network of world wide spooks.

George, I know this may come as a shock to you, but many think you and your administration are terrorising this country with this constant matra, day in and day out....the sky is falling; we are here to protect you; forget that crummy piece of paper called the Constitution; We the servants of the people know what the people "need"; .....should be, the truth be known.....we will protect you from us. Yeah right George. Careful George, your true colors are showing.

Don't blame George America. Like Lee Harvey Oswald, George is just a patsy. He's been suckered in to the game. Satan fools the best of men. Pray for George America. He needs your input.

He has found "Just Cause" to kill innocent people.that means that small children like babies were also killed! Anyone that is able to do an act like this has, by the definition of our own laws, committed murder.Could you put a gun to a babies head and squeeze the trigger? It really takes a sick person to do something like that don't you agree?I do support the troops for they are only following orders and as a good soldier they follow the president and the rest of the policy makers ,It's not there fault that they are forced to do these things. It is the president and the policy makers that are guilty. What person should have the power to take another persons life?

while it's true that congress can start a war, so can the president... heck he can do it without congresses approval for up to 100 days (check the law girly, it's in the books).

the president is supposed to be the "face" of the USA, he is our figurehead, our "leader"... however some of the actions he has supported and some of the things he has done has seriously damaged any confidence people have in him. now i don't personally know him but as for myself, he just doesn't seem to be a person i would personally trust much less be my representative (that of course is my opinion and i'm not saying it's right, just that that is what i feel).

while you are correct that his job is not easy, it also seems to more and more people that he is trying to make his job more important than it is. and like i said, he is the figurehead, he is the "face", so when things don't go right, he is also the scapegoat. and as for you liking to see someone else do his job, don't worry, you'll get that chance very soon.

Many young adults and teens just dislike all forms of authority or are just trying to be "hardcore". As for the adults' point of view, it differs so much I can't do it justice by touching on one part. I do agree with the statement implying "Hey, you couldn't do any better, average Joe!", Though I'm next to sure there are other qualified government officials of handling the country as well as or better than President Bush. I am not pro Bust or anti-Bush, seeing as I'm not informed on the latest political issues.

Baby, I'm ready right now to step into the Oval Office and believe you me, we would not be in the mess that this dude has placed us in.

It's great that you like our president. Good for you. I respect your opinion.

But one day you will have a family, a job, responsibilities, the need for health care. Post your question then and see if you still feel the same way.

I agree with you. I was just saying to my friend the other day how I don't understand why everyone bashes Bush so much for his "war on terrorism" because all he is trying to do is protect our dumb asses. If he wasn't so vigilant in this cancer that is infecting the world (and it is), we would have had 5 more September 11ths by now. If he was passive and didn't do a thing, it would be full on assult by these jack *** extremists. Imagine if those 10 planes actually were blown up. Just imagine for a second how it would change the world forever in one instant.

We don't hate him. We just want him to be legally accountable for willful violation of federal laws and betrayal of his oath of office.

As to the points you raised. First, Congress never declared the current War on Terror. Bush did. Check for yourself. The Authorizations for the Use of Military Force (AUMF) for Iraq and Afghanistan are not Declarations of War. They have a different legal status, under a different section of the law.

Second, Bush isn't just trying to do his job. He's violating the law. It's not complicated. The law required him to follow certain procedures. He refused. Not because he couldn't follow then. Just because he didn't want to.

Third, I didn't sign up for his job. I didn't run for the position, and I'm probably not qualified to be the chief executive of the country. But that's irrelevant. Because I'm not upset the did a bad job.

He deliberately broke the law. He willful ignored constitutional requirements. He betrayed his oath of office.

Why is that so complicated for people to grasp?

Read some. Find out what party congress is made up of and who's voice they favor. True enlightenment comes from within. Feed it with knowledge.
