From all I've heard, you'll be so distracted by the labor starting that any embarrassment is quickly forgotten.

There's a funny story I read (could be an old wives tale) about carrying around a jar of pickles. When your water breaks (in public) just smash the pickle jar down. The whole area will smell like dill and you'll just look a little clumsy.
I don't know, the pickle thing just makes me smile.

I had been having minor contractions all day. We went to the mall, we went to look at a new car, we went and walked around a furniture store, and then, we went to Pizza Hut to have dinner, Bad Idea! Right after we were seated, SPLASH!!! My water broke and fluid was all over. I was embarrased, but we left so fast I don't know what they did after that. I barely had time to get to the hospital. Now I know to never do that again lol!!!!

Heehee...
It's funny because when you're water breaks, it's not like on tv. I have one son (almost 4 years old now), and the day I went into labor I decided to do some heavy organizing and cleaning in our storage room in the house. I wore myself out by the end of the day, and in the evening when I went to the bathroom, I noticed a small wet spot on my undies, like the size of a quarter. I called the hospital, and they said come in, just in case. When I got there, they confirmed my water had broken, AND I was already dilated halfway! So, your water breaking is like like a small drip, and you'll notice before anyone else does!

Yea it was awful, and since it took like 4 hours for it to turn into ice in the first place it was a big waste of time to boot.

properly its completely regular the two way so don't be embarrassed, being pregnant purely likes to wreak havoc with your physique! you will desire to seek for suggestion from a professional with something like this, continuously. we are able to all 2nd wager at here yet a minimum of a midwife will bypass away you in little question. besides, specially it cant be long now so an early congratulations from me :)

You receive nothing but sympathetic attention and care. If anyone was rude enough to make you feel bad, they are not worth caring about anyway. If it happens, your mind will be on much greater things than embarrassment!!!
