Hey Yahoo im sitting in GA waiting on my accpetance letter and im getting very impatient...my EFC (In FAFSA terms Family Contribution) is ALL zeros does that mean i have a greater chance to get in? Im so confused with this process any comments that can help would be great...and the school im waiting for is Savannah College of Art and Design i plan to study Sound Design.

Your income will not determine your acceptance into college. It really depends on the admission policy of the school, so I recommend checking the college website on the Admissions page, and it should give a date as to when you will be notified.

You'll get into SCAD. They let just about everybody with a pulse in to the school. If your SAT is over 400; don't sweat it. It may take awhile. The school has way more applications then they are equipped to process so getting through the admissions system takes a long time. Opening the Atlanta campus didn't help; if that's where you applied, it will take even longer since they have exactly ONE person handling all applications.

I remember in high school as seniors we had to start applying to colleges in november and by mid march thats when most colleges started to respond. some students were still waiting until like may. It takes a while, so be patient and good luck to you.

Well the sooner you apply with the best SAT's....the better.
The college doesn't get nervous till their top choices don't send in their checks...about August. They got to fill the slots to stay in operaiton. Call admissions and see where you stand, don't wait.

Honey child you are in the deep south- everything is slower there. I mean that in a good way- I was born in Brunswick GA!

i'm no longer constructive why they have not notified you yet--even as a move student. i grow to be standard--yet as a freshman applicant. i wager that you're going to take heed to from the admissions place of work merely before mid-April, as you've been cautioned. good luck!!!

Dude yes and yes and yes, and it takes about 2months 17days and 9hrs and 39 minutes and 14seconds to get accept,
PS. thats how long it took me, give or take a few hours.minutes, seconds, days if you're in a different time zone :D
