what is your definition of love?

what is your definition of love? the biggest thing he would sacrafice for him/her. To be with you the good and bad times. They are their for the little things they do. The laughter, the pain ,and the love they give you. When you look at them the beauty you in your eyes see in theirs Etc...

this is both a male/female question i would just like to know what your definition of love is when you look at your special someone

Love is the joy of the good, the wonder of the wise, the amazement of the Gods. At the touch of love everyone becomes a poet.
In the arithmetic of love, one plus one equals everything, and two minus one equals nothing.
Love is that condition in which the happiness of another person is essential to your own.
We come to love not by finding a perfect person, but by learning to see an imperfect person perfectly.
I am willing to give my life for the girl i love, she`s my Sun, my Moon and Stars, she`s my everything, my cinderella, my sleeping beauty, my princess, my angel. When i`m with her, eternity is a step away. I don`t care about anything else, it`s just her and me, and i feel like the luckiest guy on earth, i had never feel like this until i met her. Whenever she is feeling sad, i feel sad, two days without her seems like an eternity, i love her with all my heart, i will love her forever.♥ ♥ ♥

There is no real answer to this question but what I have learned of what love is to me and that is the word LOVE itself holds the answer.......

(L)isten: and validate them by hearing and empathizing.
(O)verlook: their minor character flaws as they will overlook yours.
(V)alue: who they are and what they mean to you.
(E)xpress: how you love them not just with words but with actions.
