ok first let me apologize to you as a cingular wireless representative. i wish there was something personally that i could do for you. however the best i can do is give you two bits of information. the first is the complaint address for cingular.
Complaints
Cingular Wireless
5565 Gleenridge Connector
Suite 1401
Atlanta, Ga 30342
the second thing i can give you is a number that can only be used internally by employees. this is a number that we are not supposed to give out but in your case i will.
1-866-305-8271 option 5. follow the prompts til you get someone. at that time threaten to cancel your service and i guaruntee that they will cut you all types of offers and possibly credit your account pretty nicely. in some cases i personally have seen 150 dollar credits. good luck and i hope this helps

i'd write to Cingular's shopper affairs branch. it truly is major that once you signal a freelance to have the different area stipulate that you'll improve each 6 months in the settlement. in the different case, you've an rather weak case, no remember what someone reported.

Pretty much the same thing happened to me, I called and said i was very displeased with the service and that i wanted to terminate my contract and switch to verizon. A supervisor got on the line and politely asked why, i explained the whole situtaion for the millionth time and she credited my account with the amount I was owed

I don't know, but the same thing happened to me. Only I was assured I could upgrade after 1 year, but no, I can only upgrade in 2 years (the length of the contract).

as far as the the above answer about emailing to stan he won't get it. there is a dept called the office of the president which is entirely not what it sounds like. they'll try to work with you as best as they can. you should read all the terms and conditions in your contract. you'll find some interesting legalese in there. in all honesty if the situation really bothers you and you don't get what you what you need to just cancel. i agree with the above person thank god this site is anonymous.

I say just switch your business to someone else, whatever the cancellation fee is. That's what I am doing right now.
They are a terrible company, nearly every experience with them is painful or just a disaster. Their employees are incompetent. The only pleasant experiences I have had is when they lie to me.

Put your complaint in more concise form, and email it to the president of Cingular
stan.sigman@cingular.com
keep it short so his staff reads it, they WILL take care of you
