He gets some bashing every now and then but, it's not as bad as some other celebrities. Maybe it's because he doesn't beleive in divorce and loves his wife and five children. Mel Gibson is a good person. Maybe it's because he is a saluted actor in society and people have respect for him. Maybe because he doesn't bash anybody else. Good people make mistakes (i.e. his OWI) but, who cares. He's still a good actor and produces some good movies. Wouldn't it be hard to be mean to Mel Gibson? I think so.

Didn't think he was treated kindly, the world news media raked him over the coals. He didn't kill anybody as some drunks do. To much attention to a non-story.

Excellent question. He's nothing more then a drunk, bigot, anti-Semite. I don't care how much money he has or how many movies he's made, he's a loser. What are they gonna do..wait til he kills someone while he drives drunk before they see what he is? He needs to go back to Australia and stay there.
