This is a well-known petroglyph site. Henderson County is east of Dallas and southwest of Tyler, in northeast Texas. The county seat is the city of Athens. If you can find a copy of the book _Why Stop_ (a listing of all the historical markers in Texas) there should be more information there.

Flowery Mountain is a local topographic high named for the profucion of wildflowers in the spring. A small community was once there, named for the topographic feature. It is near the towns of Looneyville and Nat, Texas, about ten miles northwest of the town of Nacogdoches (best known for being near the center of the debris from the Space Shuttle's breakup)

As to whether either is worth visiting... It's likely that both are on private property, and access may be restricted by the landowners.

I wouldn't know. Neither appear on the 2000 census. Try someplace real.
