No... a cyst does not change the results... trust me... I know. I used to have two cysts... one on each ovary... and both were removed (the cyst... not my ovaries). I developed them before I got pregnant... and didn't know about them until 2 or 3 months in the pregnancy. Besides that... EVERY woman develop cysts around the time of their period... most of the time they will go away on their own. Only in extreme cases should you worry about them. As for the feeling dizzy, headaches, sensitivity to odors, and food cravings... those are all symptoms of pregnancy. I hope this helps... congratulations and good luck!!

No a cyst will not effect a pregnancy test. Pregnancy tests detect the level of Human Growth Hormone in your urine or blood . HGH is only present in pregnant woman.

If the dr's test says you're pregnant then you most likely are. My friend found out that she had a cyst 1 week before she was pregnant so no I don't think it interferes with the detection of pregnancy.
Good luck!

You're pregnant, honey. Cysts don't produce HGC, the hormone produced only by a pregnant woman's body. Thus, there's no way the cyst has anything to do with the results of the test.
Congratulations!

Congrats you are going to be a mum...
I highly doubt that your cycts would affect the outcome of a positive pregnancy test...You only get a + when there are traces of the pregnancy hormone in your urine or blood..
Only a pregnancy can cause this...Good Luck!

You sound PG, When i was PG with my first child, i tested positive but them they saw on a sonogram that i had a huge cist on my left ovary, after the surgry they wernt sure i was PG at all because it could result in a false testing. But in my case i was PG and had my Left Ovary removed and i was 5 1/2 weeks PG. So whoo knows, u should contact a Dr.
