There are a lot of answers in this question!
Examples:
f(x) = x^2 g(x) = x + 1
f(x) = (x + 1)^2 g(x) = x
f(x) = (x -1)^2 g(x) = x + 2
f(x) = x g(x) = (x + 1)^2
f(x) = (2x)^2 g(x) = (x + 1) / 2

F(x)= x^2 and g(x)= x+1.

So g(x)= x+1 and f(g(x))= (x+1)^2

a. 6. for this one, locate both because the x fee and seem down the table to locate the gx of the x fee. then locate the fx of this new x fee. g(2)=6, then f(6)=6 b. 5. use 2 as x fee and locate the fx through utilising chart and searching all the way down to locate fx. then repeat procedure with new values for gx, then fx back. f(2)=5, then g(5)=2, then f(2)=5.

Another possibility

g(x) = x * (x+2)
f(x) = x + 1

g(x)= x+1

f(x) = x^2

nice job on the squared power symbol btw - how did you do it?

if you reversed the functions - ie

g(f(x)) = x^2 +1 would be your result

not much to it

f(g(x)) = (x + 1)^2

f(x) = x^2
g(x) = x + 1

so

f(g(x)) = f(x + 1)
f(x + 1) = (x + 1)^2

so therefore

f(g(x)) = (x + 1)^2
