Like the others said you won't get rich, but you can make an extra $200 or so a month if you're fairly diligent about getting referrals. I will say that not all offers are open to Canadians, but there is a thread on their forums for International members and that should really help get you going.

Most people I know (including myself) are sick and tired

It doesn't matter. In order to complete enough surveys to actually get the cash, you have to spend more time on the surveys than you would at a REAL job. If minimum wage applied to surveys, ALL of the sites would be illegal.
