Warm up properly and always stretch after the session.
Use muscle rubs. It'll help ease the aching. But the main thing is still to stretch.

Drink lots of water at least an hour before playing, and then during play, to minimize cramping. Warm up well and stretch before playing; and warm down and stretch after playing. Leg massage after a game is excellent if you can get someone to do it. Ice sore joins, and take ibuprofen as an anti-inflamatory and pain reliever.

The best thing to do is always stretch before and after you play any game. Then try a good hot shower followed by a real cold rinse off. It always works for me.

stretch a bit and gove them time to cool down. don't sit down immediately after playing. Use ice and then some relaxant or balm like Bengay; finally elevate those suckers.

Equally as important is to stretch and limber them up before playing

Stretch! Before, during and after the game - after a warm shower, a few hours after that. The more you stretch, the better.

Heat then stretch is good too.

Anyone who gives a good massage - very good indeed.
