Hi, well first off, campuses today are much better equipped than 35 years ago. You won't be surprised to see that there are probably many handicapped people on campus, so that should not be as much of a problem as you may think.
As far as your studies, yoou may find it a bit tough at the beginning, but your level of maturity im much higher than it was 35 years ago. Besides your level of knowledge, you have a lot of "LIFE" baggage that will serve you well.
I returned to my studies when I was 45, and it went beautifully. I'm sure it will for you as well. Best of luck.

I am currently working on my second degree. You'll be fine.It will keep your brain healthy. you'll find there are a lot of people around your age returning to school.
