Sorry- I love cartoons! But only the adult ones, like Futurama, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, South Park, Family Guy, Harvey Birdman, The Boondocks, and The Minoriteam. For the classic cartoons, I like Bugs Bunny shorts. I was never a big fan of Tom and Jerry or Popeye though.

yeah, I miss cartoons that used to be on in the 90s, like topCat the pink panther, cartoon olympics, dexters lab, popeye, the stuff that was on the original cartoon network. Todays cartoons suck, except the ones for teens and adults such as aqua teen, family guy and the simpsons. Its sad that they're the only cartoons out today that I can stomache. I have to admit I do like fosters home for imaginary friends, and spongebob had a good run, but thats the only two.

I think we're all just a product of our generation. I feel the same. I never much cared for Tom and Jerry though...too violent. But I loved Fat Albert, Johnny Quest, Wacky Races, Porky Pig,Woody Woodpecker (some times), Flinstones, Jetsons, Yoga the Bear...others I am sure.

I have to say the cartoons now-a-days are way diff. from what we had!! While not a major cartoon fan at a young age, I did love Speed Buggy, Flinstones, Scooby Doo.. I have to admit I'm really happy I grew up with such classics/cheesy shows like Gilligan's Island, Leave it to Beaver, etc... and I loved watching Lost in Space before church on Sundays... (Born in 68').
Sad to see there really aren't much as far as 'fun' kids shows like we had when we were young. I mean, Schoolhouse Rock-ON!

Most of today's cartoons are much better. The worst one's are the ones that were back in the time when Disney still roamed the earth... and the cartoons the King of Cartoons shows on Pee-Wee's Playhouse are... the most disturbing cartoons ever.

The new cartoons are nothing more than commercials to sell those stupid fighting cards. They are dull and repetitive. They lack any style or substance. My generation can talk about funny cartoons at work or during some social gatherings. We have a common link in our childhood to other people.
What are these kids going to talk about in the future, when they are adults?
"Hey Joe, remember that cartoon where Ash screamed Picachu, I choose you?" That happens in every episode of the commercial.

cartoons are becoming more gross, badly drawn, stupid story lines. fighting forms twisted, (saw one that has a stupid guy with a thing called a snot rocket and that was just in the commercial) original 80's cartoons, cartoons created by Hanna Barbara great shows, teaching morals and positive outlook on good verses evil.original USA cartoon express stuff now that was a great cartoon collection.

Animaniacs have been stable too. i like the recent Nick exhibits. i like to observe Spongebob with the youngsters. And the barnyard teach. saved with the aid of the bell became into no longer a Nick or Disney teach. It became right into a Saturday morning teach on NBC i think of. There are a few OK cartoons out today, but I must agree, most cartoons today lack that spirit and originality that used to make cartoons works of art.
