Ok, guys, I need your help desperately. For the past two days I haven't been able to open-up my Defender Pro Antivirus. Windows security alerts has already notified me that the Antivirus is turned off, but it doesn't open-up. Oh, this is so frustrating. Does anyone know why I can no longer have access to it? Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Also, when I'm trying to open the server, it appears as if it was loading in order to open, but then nothing happens, and then when I try to open the server again, I am not allowed to proceed because supposedly another user has already attempted to start it. Grr...

hi, perhaps you can try Norton to remove the virus. but you need to pay for the software.

i also recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.

besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.

firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.

download firefox for free:

Many times spyware or viruses will disable the antivirus software.
If you have the install media (disk or file) try installing it in safe mode then scanning in safe mode.
You might also try an online scan available free from places like http://housecall.trendmicro.com
