Don't you think a sequel is needed to this classic movie? He could skip out of work for the day. Maybe he works for the sausage king of Chicago. Imagine his new madcap adventures. And that Cameron, he could ironically be an overbearing father. Anyone? Anyone?

there is a concept for the movie and it is as follows

Writer-Director John Hughes and star Matthew Broderick are rumored to be teaming up again for the sequel to 1986's classic rules-breaking, play-hooky-from-school-and-suffer-no-consequences comedy, Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Ferris, now 15 years older and working at a large firm in Chicago, remains the rebel at heart, as he is bent on playing hooky again, this time from work.

I don't know. I think if they did that it would just be more of the same old thing, and seem too much like the first one. And if his boss tried to track him down, that would be like the exact same. I loved the first movie, and I think it's good that they stopped there. (Plus, Matthew Broderick is too old now). That's an interesting thought, though.

I don't think that it would be to good.. I mean both of them are 40 and I think that the original was cool. But I don't know how cool a 40 year old man looks dancing and kicking his heels on a float. Just my opinion

Sequels are usually where Hollywood cheapens the character of the original.

Hell no! Would you want to see a new painting of the Mona Lisa? Never tamper with a classic.

he might be too old to be acting so immature by now, unless you got someone like adam sandler or will ferrell to play him. besides, at work there's no truant officers, unless the New World Order happens as planned.
