The male will harrass and probably kill the females if they are not in breeding condition. To keep a male with females not in breeding condition, you would need a VERY large tank (like a 55 gallon for maybe 1 male and 2 or 3 females) with more than one female and LOTS of plants and places to hide. Generally speaking though, it just isn't a good idea.

They will fight, chase, peck or try to kill each other as they are both Siamese Fighting Bettas. They will only mate when they are ready, the male will have bubblenest prepared and the female did show interest in him. Otherwise, there is not point putting them together to see one of them get crush to death and the other had injuries and broken fin all over etc.

The male has to be ready to mate with the female.(signs of this are making bubbles at the top of the water)The female has to be in heat, and when you put them in together when the chemistry is right, they'll make a bubble nest full of eggs!(but be careful, they will eat the eggs!!

Most likely the male and female will fight and the male usually will kill the female if she is not in heat. You can keep them in separate bowls but put them side by side.

base line - there is not any thank you to renowned for particular with bettas. some declare it ought to be 3 or 5 women folk yet I even have 2 women folk in a tank without concern. you in basic terms could attempt it and watch them with a lower back up plan.

They might fight, males can be aggresive even if they want to mate. If you want to breed bettas here is a website that can help. Otherwise, i wouldnt put them together. Only with other species, like gourami, or algae eaters. http://www.bettatalk.com/breeding_bettas.htm
