Why yes, I do believe you've got it. Tequila is all that and more. Run naked through the clover, yes. Shout to the heavens, oh my yes. Rejoice, sing the praises and have your heart thump with love, oh my yes, yes, yes. You understand!!! Finally you understand that tequila is for your own pleasure. Whiskey? Save that for the "hired" help.
As you can see anyone can do whiskey, but it takes a special breed to do tequila. As rare as tequila itself. Pansies.

Tequila and whiskey are two entirely different alcoholic beverages.
On a personal note, Tequila did not show me the love of life. It did,however, show me just how miserable a person can feel without actually dying.
Whiskey, on the other hand, is my friend. My preference is bourbon. I live in Kentucky and by definition bourbon can only be made in the borders of Kentucky. If you make the same thing somewhere else, you cannot call it bourbon.
