The A's won the 1973 world series in 7 games, against the Mets. They finished the regular season with 94 wins and 68 losses.
The Reds swept the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 1975 Championship Series and then won the world series, 4-3 against Red Sox. They've been defeated only 54 times during the regular season.
Therefore, I'll go with the 1975 Reds. They were a better team at the moment.

The Reds in 7...Just a hunch that their firepower was just a little more.

While the reds were a better team, I would go with the 73 A's. Mr. October would come up big. Oh Reggie!!!! Its hit....back back back back back ...Gone!!!!

75 Reds in five games - they have more firepower and better pitching.
